Damn thing was crazy, bam-e-lam
Jul. 2nd, 2008 08:34 pmWARNING: Pointless rant
So the blood tests from yesterday came back and it seems I have some anti-whatever, immunity problem. That's kinda no surprise as I've always had such problems. Also, I might not die but it requires different treatment than I have now. However, seeing as my doctor's on holiday it'll have to wait. Till then, I need to fucking relax. Because, really, I dunno if I'm being paranoid or if I have the same symptoms as when this whole thing started a few days ago. Also, it might be PMS because I'm about to burst into tears and weep at random times. The fucking heat doesn't help at all. Hopefully, I'll be at least able to sleep, if anything.
So I need some distraction to stop wondering if the strange tinkling in my leg means something more, than, well, tinkling. Since when am I a hypochondriac, by the way? Oh well, I wonder if writing might be enough of a distraction.

Date: 2008-07-02 06:53 pm (UTC)You're not a hypochondriac. It's normal to be scared and upset at things like this, and especially so if you have to wait to get some answers. Weird how you always need the doctor when he's on holiday, hm?
Anyway, I hope you will be fine!

Date: 2008-07-02 07:16 pm (UTC)Well, I know for sure that something is wrong, but somehow I have a tendency of blowing it out of proportion. I really thing that instead of blood tests and prodding and poking I'd need a psychiatrist lol Or just to stop thinking about it. You'd never believe that washing dishes can be an awesome distraction=)

Date: 2008-07-02 09:19 pm (UTC)For instance, I've had this pain in my left side, near my floating ribs, for three days and I'm 100 percent certain that I either a) fractured a rib or b) have kidney stones.

Date: 2008-07-03 06:13 am (UTC)1) cos they never studied medicine and dont know if their problems are serious or not (sometimes they are more/less than they think);
2) cos people are already ill with sth "unusual" for life which their friends do not have (it is a rule, 1 ill person has 99% of his/her friends totally healthy)
"unusual" means many people in universe have it but your healthy friends never even heard the name of your illness ;)
3) cos practitioners (and some others) think nothing except death is serious, this means when you are still living at the time of doctor visit, it isnt serious at all; in case you seem a bit ill, you should take enough pills which will calm you down so you will surely stop complaining and feel very very very relaxed;
4) cos doctors see some tests are fine and are lazy to send person to other tests which may show the illness even if they know the 1st tests were useless (shh, it is a secret which no normal person should ever know).
Hope you feel better ;)
