School. Such a nice word, don't you think? Well, not really. The first day was OK. Just some boring shit. But today... We've had 8 lessons till 3.30pm. Perfect. I've got a horrible headache somewhere during Spanish, possibly right after revising preterito perfecto and starting on preterito indefinido, suffered throughout whole maths and barely made it home But now, after 2 hour sleep, I'm all fresh and ready to tell you about my school day. He he
I've been kinda afraid of the social studies seminar which I had to take up instead of English (grrrrr). We've had to tell the teacher why we chose this particular seminar and I really haven't had any other chance than to say: "Um, I've been kind of forced to take this seminar..." The teacher cut me off in the middle of the sentence and has said: "So now you're in my claws?" After I've recovered from the initial shock I've been like: "Um, yeah?" And then he's said he hoped I liked at least something from what we were gonna do. Well, that's gone down pretty well considering I've been scared shitless. And actually I think I'll like psychology and philosophy and we're also gonna do religion (Judaism, yay!) so, well, not that bad after all=) I'm curious about the history seminar which we're gonna have tomorrow though. We've got some new Swedish teacher so that's bound to be interesting lol
And then, English has come. This year we're gonna do the final exams from this subject so they've had to scare us right from the beginning. I'm thoroughly confused about all the percentages they've informed us about (like literature essay - 10% of final mark, oral exam - 30% of final mark etc.) but, honestly, I really don't wanna know. So I guess that English will be about working this year. Hard. Supposing I wanna get some decent marks of course, which I do.
The other subjects today have been rather uninteresting (tell me when geography hasn't been boring...) so they're not worth mentioning at all.
First two days of school and I'm still alive and somewhat sane. More than I've expected, really.
