This is gonna be real short, 'cause I just need to get it out of my system.

Remember the history written final I've been whining about recently? We got it back and to my huge surprise I got 1! =) It was really close though, I had 51 points out of 60 and 49 was already 2. But the over all marks weren't that good. The most points anyone got was 53 and there were just 4 people who had 1 (out of 16). Honestly, I think the teacher (our class teacher, no less) could have been less strict. Oh well. I guess I can be glad they, for some unexplainable reason, liked my Nazi essay =) And for the oral part I can get maximum 40 points, so altogether the max is 100 and 80 is still 1, 60 still 2... So that means I must get at least 9 points out of 40 to have 2, which would be totally okay with me =) Spanish, on the other hand, will be much worse.

Now to the not so happy news. You might also remember me stressing over the uni applications. Today I got all the invitations for my uni entrance exams and guess what? They're all in one day!!! =/ Prague, Brno and Olomouc, meh. In Brno I have Spanish and English in one day, so they'll move one of them to the next day, but it still means the rest is on the 1st June. So I guess I'm decided I'll sit the exams in Olomouc on the 1st (English and Spanish) and either English or Spanish in Brno on the 2nd, depending on what they'll move. SO this basically means I'll fucking stay here for uni, which really, really sucks. Well, depending if I'll be accepted here. If not, then I'm screwed 'cause I doubt I'll get to Brno. My last hope would be the school in Prague for which I've already sat the exams.

So, I'm pissed beyond belief. Also, I'm sorry if you made it here. I just needed to whine.

Okay I really don’t get your grading system lol, but from what I have gathered this means you have done well.... YAY!!!! I’m very happy for you (I knew you’d do wonderfully).

Sucks that the uni entrance exams are in one day!! You’d think there would be a better system in place or something. Sucks the big one.

LoL it seems our grading system is kinda different to all the other grading systems out there. Simply, we've got grades from 1 to 5, 1 being the best and 5 the worst. Usually, you get some amount of points which relates to one of the grades, in the history case you need to get between 100 and 80 points to get 1 and so on=) But yeah, it might be kinda confusing lol

As for the unis, I'm just starting to realize how much it sucks. 'Cause I need to choose one of them and hope I'll be lucky 'cause otherwise I'd have a big problem. And I'm not even thinking about the wasted money for the applications, meh.

It is pretty different, we went with A, B, C ect but in our last year of school our entire grade is based on this test we take for two days, and then the outcome of everyone affects the your grade. The end of year grade was the same as yours 1 best ect I got an 8 but I should of done better but because our state had a lot of low scores the people that did get good scores got dragged down.

The way your university system works is strange to me, we don’t have entrance exams, you get excepted if you got a good enough score and a few other small things, like for insistence if your applying to do an art course you have to submit a portfolio ect.

Could you maybe reschedule the exam by explain the problem (All the exams being at the same time) or is it non-negotiable.

I’ve been okay, had a headache for three weeks now, which I must say isn’t very fun. But other than that everything is good, working a lot which is good for my savings (Going to the UK for six weeks next year).

Well the most important thing is that grades aren't that important as they seem to be ;)

And, well, everybody is wondering about our uni system lol Seems like we need to be different in everything, heh. There is a possibility to reschedule the exam after you've missed for being sick, but you'd need some papers from a doctor etc etc and it's not easy. That's the only case, otherwise there's no chance. And they specifically state that exams at a different uni aren't a reason to reschedule. Oh well.

And omg how can you live with a constant headache?=/ I know how it is, I have headaches and migraines often, but they don't last more than a few days usually. Ah, hope you'll feel better soon, I know that's no fun=/ And yay for going to the UK! What are you gonna do there?=) I'm so jealous, that's my fave country!=)
