I'm not dead yet.

I sat the history final on Wednesday and it was much more difficult than I'd expected. Or at least the multiple choice part. I mean, questions like "What was the religion in the Mogul empire in India?" or "Who moved the Pope from Avignon back to Rome?" or "How many days lasted the Berlin Airlift?" just weren't cool. It felt like a guessing game. I know about at least 6 mistakes so far (there were 40 multiple questions) and there's surely more. Then, for the source work, I chose the documents about Cuban missile crisis. It was either that or the Munich agreement from 1938, but that was too related to the Czech Republic that I felt I should know more about it lol The essay topics were terrible as usually so I wrote 'The Treaty of Versailles was the principle cause of Hitler's rise to power' and I basically made Hitler a nice, caring man lmao I mean, they could use the essay for Nazi propaganda right away *facepalm* Oh well.

And today I sat my first university entrance exam. In Prague at 8.30am so we went there yesterday with my mother. It wasn't as difficult as I'd expected this time. It was an English text (about Jihad) and we had to translate it to Czech with the use of a dictionary. However, I wouldn't want to go to this school so I don't particularly care if I'm accepted or not.

Now I'm gonna catch up on House fics lol

Well, at least the tests are out of the way now, huh? You worked so hard for it, so I hope the results will be okay, too!

Which Uni would most like to get accepted to, btw?

Sadly, it's not the end of exams for me this school year, far from it *sigh* Oh well.

And, well, there comes the difficult question lol I applied for a few different schools, English and humanities in Prague, English, Spanish and special pedagogy in Brno and English and Spanish in Olomouc. I'd most like to go to the English/Spanish combination in Brno, but the entrance exams are pretty difficult there. AND the language department in Brno is not very good from what I've heard. The best languages are in Olomouc, but I live here and I don't want to anymore! So, I dunno what'll happen. I'll wait to see where (if anywhere lol) I'm accepted and then I'll have to decide. Ahem, rant.

I think we always believe things went worse then they actually did, I'm sure your essay was good, as for the propaganda... hopefully they'll think you've done something different. You'd be surprised I often got good grades when I was in school just because my point of view was different and I had no issue putting a voice to it.
I still have the faith that you've done well :D
I'm glad the university exam wasn't as hard as you expected. Again I'm sure you have done wonderfully!!

Well, actually, that's my life philosophy - always assume the worst, that way you can never be disappointed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I'm starting to think you think I'm much better than I am regarding school lol Well, true, it kinda depends on the teachers, how they'll see my efforts to build a presentable argument supporting the statement that the Versailles Treaty is to blame lol I guess I'll see in two weeks or so.
And yes, I did enjoy my House fic, thank you =)) Do you still watch House btw? =)

What can I say, I have an optimistic outlook on you and your school work: D
Yes I do watch House, but not Season 5 (I have seen one episode, where the guy takes them all hostage and makes 13 take everything they give him) yet because I don’t get enough downloads a month. I’m waiting for the DVD which I will but right away. But I have been considering downloading on episode a month, a slow process but at least I’ll get my house fix lol

Aw, that kinda sucks. But you could use torrent to download it, no? Or if you wanted I could probably burn you the DVDs after season 5 ends and send it to you, so you'd have everything lol Dunno how much time it'd take to get there, but I'd say maybe 2 weeks at most? lol I know I probably couldn't wait until the DVD comes out, I'm too much of an addict =))

Yeah it does suck. The way my internet works in even general use uses up the 2GB I get a month, which is stupid if you ask me lol.

If you wouldn’t mind doing the DVD’s up I would love that!! I’m already going through withdrawal; I love the first four seasons, they basically live beside my DVD player haha. As long as you don’t mind, don’t want to cause you any hassles. You’re so lovely for offering : D

I have to go to work in 6 hours (yuck lol) So I need to go to bed and get some sleep lol. I'm send my adress to you tomorrow when I'm finished :D I still have yours but it's your old one, before you moved. So just let me know if I should send you the CDs (I have to lol) there or a new adress :D
