So today's my best friend's prom (or not really a prom, rather only a graduating ball but everyone understands, right?). Anyways, today's hers and tomorrow's mine. And I'm going to both. And don't feel like going to either. Oh well. But then again I promised her I'd be there today and it actually seems like she wants me to be there so even though I won't know that many people I'll try to get over it for my bff =) And tomorrow everyone's gonna get drunk and I've no idea what it'll be like but hopefully it'll turn out okay.

I'll be actually wearing a dress tomorrow. I look like an idiot in it, I'm too fat to wear a dress but it's a kind of an unwritten rule for these things so I don't wanna stand out. Most of the girls in my class are asking each other all the time 'what dress are you gonna wear?', what colour?', long or short?', but somehow I'm usually not a part of such discussions. Usually. Anyways, that's probably the only positive thing about this, the dress-stuff will stop lol

And my mother managed to piss me off once again. She told me something along the lines of "imagine you're showing the pics from the ball to your kids and telling them: "Look how fat I was at that ball," hahaha." Apparently it's really funny but if the comments don't stop I'm gonna snap and then it won't be funny anymore. Grrrr.

Anyways, if I'm not around much this weekend I'm probably sleeping off the hangover. I'm not planning to get drunk too much but one never knows.

First of all..I almost can't believe the comment from your mom. In my opinion, that's not an acceptable thing to say to anyone, much less to your own daughter. Really - she should not say such a thing!

As for the dress talk...oh, I know what you mean. I was also never part of such discussions in school, and I also hated (*cough*still hate*cough*) wearing a dress at all. Heh.

Either way, I hope the ball will be okay, and not too annoying, even if you don't really want to go there. Good luck!

Well, it wasn't surprising, rather annoying. A day doesn't pass without my mother telling me I'm fat. She thinks the more she tells me the bigger the chance of me doing something with it is. Obviously, she doesn't know me that well even after the 18 years.

I'm leaving in like half an hour so I hope it'll be okay =)) Thanx = )

I know exactly how you feel. Prom was awkward for the dress wearing, but while you're there, just try to make the most of it. Junior prom was way more fun to me (I danced :O!) but Senior prom was just plain boring and the food sucked so I amused myself by taking pictures the whole night. *nods* If you find something to stick with, it'll make the experience more fun. Plus, you'll have your friend! (:

I didn't get my dress until the day before, so I wasn't part of any excited blabbering about dresses. Don't feel so bad. <3

And mothers are a whole 'nother story. My mom was all, "YOU CAN'T WEAR A DRESS WITH STRAPS. YOUR ARMS ARE TOO FAT." But I bought a strappy (this is not a word >.>;) dress and a shawl and all was fine. As long as you feel comfortable (I mean, as comfortable as you can be in a dress, you know?) then don't listen to herrrr.

I hope you have a great time, both at your friend's and at your own! <3 /really long ramble.

Thank you, that really made me smile =) I suppose that mothers are all the same but still, it's pretty annoying. And I did have fun yesterday, let's see what happens today = ))

Dresses meh. And how interesting can a discussion over them be. Unless it's Chester in a dress, then it changes.

Why does your mum have to be so evil about it?? Fat is not bad, it means you're enjoying your life duh.

And good luck with your hangover, don't end up like me.

Lmao if the brats dare say anything about me being fat I'll show them...! =) And I actually did have fun, but the dress thing is today, so hopefully it won't be that bad =)

Honestly, you aren't fat. I live in America for Christ's sake, we're one of the most obese nations in the world. If your mother wants to see fat, tell her to come here.

But I want pictures :) Glad you had fun!
