Thinking it's Doomsday you got to let it go (so you run)

I've just started to read The Western Lands by William S. Burroughs and I already love it. I think he's my favourite writer now. Sorry Chuck, I enjoy Bill's writing a tiny bit better. I think I might even like this book more than Naked Lunch, which I simply adore. Well, I see how it turns out, so far it's awesome. Obviously, I strongly recommend you to read something by Burroughs as he's just amazing. I'd start with Junkie =)

I'm considering applying to a 'working camp' in summer. You know, the place where you do voluntary work for food and accommodation. I'd want to go to the UK and preferably work with disabled children. Also, I'm gonna spend all my money on the application and see what happens. It's just something I need to do and even if I wasn't accepted it'd be worth trying at least. Really, I need to stop being so dependent and cowardly and do something on my own finally. I'm really not happy with how my life has turned out so it's time to do something about it. This might be the start, who knows.

Finally, we have a free day on Monday as there are entrance tests being written in our school. Poor kids, trying to get there lol But hey, if it means no school for us I don't care about them=)

I think working camps will be amazing! I wish I could do something on my own, but my parents won't let me yet heh!

And I want to read something by Burroughs if I find any of his books.

And you totally *need* to read something by Burroughs! Really, he's so awesome=) 'Naked Lunch' is kinda perverted and gruesome but still my fave by him so far. 'Junkie' is an easier read and the follow up's called 'Queer', which really speaks for itself lol But hell everything by Bill is amazing and wicked <33

If I can get some of his books in English I'll send it to you for your b-day haha 'Cause it really *is* worth it. Although, there's a chance you'll hate it 'cause his books aren't for everybody, I know a lot of people who despise him, tsk lol
