Advantages of being ill

Yeah, I'm ill again. The flu. Have been the whole week actually. It's not as bad as the last time but still I couldn't go skiing with my best friend as I was supposed to ('cause we've had holidays this week) *sigh*

Anyways, yesterday the guy I tutor in English called me and asked if I could come today. Normally we have lessons on Mondays but he hasn't been at school for quite a long time so his mum forced him to call me to help him with the stuff he missed. Well, me being ill and all, I've been sneezing and coughing the whole time but apparently he hasn't minded. His grandmother has noticed as well though and when I've been about to leave she's been like 'Aww, you're so ill young lady, you need a bowl of hot soup.' And before I've managed to sneak out she's given me the soup and then even lunch. Needless to say I've been beyond embarrassed but frankly, there's been no way to escape, eh. However, in the end it's come handy 'cause I haven't had to spend my own money on lunch. Still, I feel kind of bad about it.

Poor thing, being sick really sucks. And I wouldn't worry or be embaressed Old people love feeding young people lol, take it as a nice act of kindness :))) Feel better!

Yeah, it really does=/ I haven't been sick the whole school term and now it's the third week in a row *sigh* Well, it certainly was kind of her but I felt really awkward, eh.

I'm a smoker (not sure if you know that) and I got a cold, and because if the cigerettes it lated three months it was the worse three months of my life!!! So I understand you pain lol, being sick for an extended period of time is not good :( you have my best wishes for a fast recovery!

And I've noticed you were smoking in some of the pics you posted (at least I think so). Smoking is bad! *shakes finger* Although I can't deny I'm a social smoker, ahem lol But yeah, that's an agreement, illnesses suck=/

being sick really blows. i hope you feel better soon! the flu is, of course, making its rounds once again. seems like everyone has been coming down with it. but if you drink a lot of water, it will help you to get over it faster. just be prepared to have to pee a lot... :P

i can see why you'd feel awkward/embarrassed about the whole soup and lunch thing. i can't really say i wouldn't have felt the same way, but hey, if she wouldn't even let you escape, then apparently, she really wanted you to have soup! so i just think, if people are willing to give, why not take? :)

Yeah it really does=/ I was pretty much ill for a week already 2 weeks ago but now it's come back *sigh* And thanx for advice lol Normally I don't drink almost at all, eh.

Well, I'm pretty sure the grandmother was more than willing to give but that didn't make me feel any less awkward. I just hope I won't be like that when I'm old lol

Well, he is a brat but she's kinda weird herself. But God, I thought I'd die of embarrassment, no kidding. Anyways, I think he caught my flu though *evil laughter*
