Okay, so this week was rather exhausting. I fucked up a few tests because I was too lazy to study and chose rather to watch House than to bother with physics or biology. Well, that should not be a problem for a while now since I have no more House to watch *sadface*

Also, last weekend I did see my father and my grandmother. If I told my father 5 full sentences then that's too much. AWKWARD. But I expected nothing less. My grandmother is quite alright, surprisingly. I even agreed with her that she'd help me with my seminar work to history. It's supposed to be 5-10 pages (eww) about anything after 1945 in Czech Rebuplic, but preferably the years 1968 or 1989 (Czech people know why and I won't bother the rest with a history lesson here) and it should be based on memories of some people living in those years. I talked to my grandmother and she told me that in 1946-1948 she was a criminalist (she was 18 in 1946!!) and saw a lot of murders, mainly Germans killed by Czech people. So I guess my seminar work is going to be a detective novel lmao

On a completely different note now, I've been having a lot of headaches lately. I mean, it's normal for me to have headaches or migraines all the time but not every fucking day as it is now. I've been popping pain killers as candy (much like House lol) but with no effect. Well, I know I don't sleep enough and I could drink more but that's been the same for years now and  it's never been so bad. Also, it usually hurts in the back of my head on the left side and that's weird too. Sometimes I even feel like passing out from the pain and at times my vision's blurry. But I can't tell any of that to my mother 'cause she already thought once that I had a brain tumour when I was probably 11 and I had to have a CT scan done. Seriously. Well they didn't find anything (I wonder if there even was a brain). So I'm sure that if I told her now she'd either tell me I should sleep more or she'd freak out and took me to the hospital again. Dunno, it's probably nothing but the headaches are really annoying. I guess I'll live with it for now but if nothing changes for a while I guess I'll have to tell my mother. She's bound to notice sooner or later anyway.

Okay, if you've read all this I'm sorry for you. But you've been warned.

Hey, IMHO you should go and see your doctor. Skip your mum, she doesn't have to be involved in everything (you've old enough!). If it's serious, then tell your mother, else, you'd at least be sure you're okay and maybe a doctor can prescribe you stronger painkillers. Then you'd surely be exactly like House, lol.
I'm worried for you, dear. *hugs*
Btw, you grandma must be cool! :D

Well the problem is my mother works at the hospital and most of the people there know me. And nurses are known to like juicy gossip. And the pediatrician ('cause I'm not an adult 'till 19) is my mother's best friend. So there's no way of going there without my mother finding out sooner or later. And I'm not going to my 'general practitioner' 'cause she's a totally incompetent bitch. I guess I'll just let it be for now see what happens. But thanx for caring=)

And I imagine my grandmother must have been cool in her younger days, indeed lol

Gosh I hope it's not something serious.
But your grandma probably is cool, I love real memories from the second world war, it must be amazing to hear them.

Well I guess I'm not gonna find out anytime soon. Unless I die or smt lol

And yeah, it's quite interesting to listen from real memories from WWII=) But I'm sure that when I'm writing about it I'll be bitching endlessly lol

I honestly think you should go talk to your mother. Just tell her you've been having several migraines/cluster headaches lately and if there was any stronger medication she could suggest. Also there are five ads right beside this journal entry, all talking about brain tumors.

But otherwise, I suggest get the hell off the computer, and get enough sleep. Drink a lot of water--dehydration is what causes some headaches. Stress, also, causes my migraines. Oh and computers make it WORSE.

However personally (unless you hit your head?), you may be suffering cluster headaches which, I dunno if you've heard of them, are very very painful (worse than childbirth I hear) and go in cycles--have them frequently, every day, for a while and then it'll go in remission. They're also mistaken for brain tumors. But they're located, usually, in the temple or around the eyes. Cluster headaches or not, I would really tell your mother if you're feeling like you're about to pass out. You're in a rather crucial year of school and kinda need to be sensible. Don't make me worry about you.

Also Excedrin rocks my socks and got rid of my concussion-caused migraine from hell, if that helps at all.

PS: Your grandmother is my hero.

Well, the thing is, I've been having headaches since I can remember so I've been to a few doctors and they all told me 'Yes, you're having migraines. No, we can't do anything about that. Here you have some pills.' They gave me Relpax, which is great, BUT one packet costs 230 Czech crowns (roughly 15 dollars) AND there are TWO pills. So obviously I can't have it all the time. And they told me I might have cluster headaches but they weren't sure. That I can live with. But the headaches I've been having lately are different to what I've been having all my life. That's why I noticed. Different place and different pain. Migraine is usually located around the eyes, exactly, but those I'm having are located in the back of my head, like behind the ear let's say, and always on the left side. It might be nothing though. But if it lasts I'll probably tell my mother first, which will probably lead to some check up. And don't worry about me, I'm totally not worth it=)

Ooops, rant.

I think you need a scan of some sort to figure out if you're getting cluster headaches. But I would strongly advise telling your mother, especially if you're noticing them again. Did you bang your head sometime? I dunno if Czech would even have Excedrin (never heard of Relpax in my life, it must not be an over the counter medication), but if you can find it, perhaps try it? But I'd still tell your mother. Like, as soon as it pops up next time.

And shut up about not being worth it, you're worth all of the worry.
