Yes, I'm still alive. Surprised? I've been around, just didn't feel like updating LJ. Dunno why, I'd have a lot to whine about actually.

Anyways, I've sent most of the university applications, 5 to be precise, and I'll think about sending more. I've till the end of February to do that. Basically I've stuck to my initial ideas and applied for English, Spanish and special pedagogy, divided among 3 cities (Olomouc, Brno and Prague, if it tells you anything). However, I've only one for Prague so I'll think about something more. And I'm starting to have this feeling that I won't get anywhere, which is entirely possible. Oh well.

Other than that, I've finished the seminar work of doom for history. It took me like 3 days only, so that was surprising. I guess that with the level of apprehension I feel the time spent on the actual task lowers exponentially. I was writing about my grandmother's life before, during and after the World War Two, but I've probably mentioned that here already, ages ago.

Oh and we've had holidays this week, which I've spent writing the seminar work and reading House fics. Tells a lot about my life, eh? But I've been to cinema at least to see the new movie about Che Guevara and I loved it <33 If you're a history freak, like Cuba or are just interested in El Che, it's a must see.

Now I've a craving to write. Maybe even House, hm. Well, I'll see.

I've been extremely busy those past few days, which is extremely unusual for me. And I don't mean busy in a pleasant way, I mean busy as in 'OMG I'm writing gazillion tests tomorrow!!' busy *sigh*

Anyways, I've seen Sweeney Todd today. <3333  that is the only way how I can express my feelings towards the movie right now (as it's almost midnight and I should be long asleep).

Well, just wanted to let you guys know I'm still alive and all, just don't get online that much these days. But that'll hopefully change=))

Oh and thanx to [profile] cookie_wolf and [profile] thegreenkat for providing me with awesome drooling material, you both rock <33

So I've followed the example of [personal profile] seether_79 and made a few Fight Club icons. I know they all suck. But if you still wanna steal some please ask me first as I wanna probably use some of them and haven't decided which yet.

And I can't be bothered to use one of the fancy icon tables, sorry=))

Teaser?

I should be totally doing anything else BUT writing this. Either learning history (French revolution, Napoleon...yay?) or literature or writing my essay/story to Czech (Romeo and and fucking Juliet of the 21st century... wtf?!).  But obviously I'm too lazy. As always after all.

Erm, anyone has seen ONCE? The movie with Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (yay she's Czech! lol). I was in the cinema on Saturday and I utterly fell in love <333 With the movie AND with Glen he he he I'm not gonna write anything about the plot here 'cause knowing myself I'd give away the ending (again=/). But if you have ever chance go and watch it!!! Or better, if you've already seen it tell me what you think!=)

Well, back to Napoleon or Goethe, not decided yet... Or maybe even Romeo, hm.

Has anyone of you seen Eyes Wide Shut directed by Stanley Kubrick? It's an awesome movie. I've seen it like 3 times so far but now I've finished reading the novel which served as a 'model' for that movie. It's a "Dream Novel" by Arthur Schnitzler. Loved the book as well and now I'm tempted to watch the movie yet again lol Probably will do despite my hatred for Nicole Kidman...ahem...lol

I know I've got a ton things to write right now but I just can't help myself=) Maybe it'll help me think about some cool angst instead of the lame stuff which is occupying the dark corners of my twisted mind at the moment...heh

Well, I think I'll stop babbling and go watch the movie.

I've just got back from a cinema where I've seen The Simpsons Movie. For the second time lol

This time I liked it even more 'cause I could focus more on the jokes and stuff instead of the plot 'cause I knew what was going on=) It could easily be one of my favorite movies 'cause now I know it's one of those films which gets better with every watch lol Other than this one it's only Fight Club for me then=) Just pity I saw it in Czech so I'm dying to get a chance to watch the original version!

If you haven't see it yet, it's a must!=)

Yesterday I saw the director's cut of Amadeus and I must say I was impressed:) I totally forgot how great that movie is.
The story is just great and it's really easy to actually believe that all that happens there is based on true events:) I think that there are surely people who think that Salieri did kill Mozart...
Amadeus is really a hot adept to become my fave movie LOL

But other than that I don't enjoy myself very much recently... Mainly because of school, we're still writing tests.I'm afraid teachers certainly haven't noticed it's the last week at school before Christmas and we need to buy presents and do other stuff... Therefore I'm gonna pretend I know how how to construct triangle or know everything about loci...

Later:)

This is my favorite singer in a movie! I know it's not long, but Chaz's "pharmacy dude" is cool:)  I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard  it's worth seeing and not only because of Chaz *wink*
