Weekend plans lmao

I think I've just decided what I wanna study. I'm so happy about it.

Also, I need to put down the things I must should do during the weekend, before I forget it all. Feel free to skip this shit.

- do the deleted meme  Done!
- write some reasonable LJ entry
- do English seminar homework Done!
- write 'receta' to Spanish
- read Lucky Jim (at least a few pages *sigh*)
- put up Bradford pics (this is with a huge question mark but I'll try)
- WRITE LPFE FIC (God damn it I need to get on with that!) Done! Yes! I've written quite a lot, according to my standards anyway.

Should be all.

Later.

What do you want to study?

[identity profile] barush.livejournal.com 2008-09-06 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it's called 'multicultural communication' but basically it's interpreting and translating. In Prague. I wanna a combination of English&Spanish but I'd have to be accepted for both in order to study that. However, usually like hundreds of people apply and they accept 40 so the chance of me getting there is pretty slim. But that's something I'd like to do.

Now I'll have to think about Plan B lol

Well if you can't do a combo, I'm sure just English interpreters are in great need. Do you have to do just two languages? I think that's a cool idea. I just suck at languages so I could never do such a thing.

[identity profile] barush.livejournal.com 2008-09-06 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Well it's a bit more complicated. The 'multicultural communication' is a branch that needs to be combined with smt. I can't study just English or just Spanish, I need to study both. Or I can study 'm.c.' in English and e.g. philosophy with it. But it has to be combined with smt.

............

Oh.

Okay.

I'll stick with my not-as-complicated major and you do that O.o

OMG!!! and would you write for what you've decided?? Or you'll keep me guessing until you finally go and study it? hahaha.

Copy paste from the previous comment, y/y? lol

I'd have to work on my Spanish hard though so I guess I'll have to think about about other options too.

I know :P You want to study sth which is neither science (=prirodni vedy) nor medicine.

OMG you're a psychic! How did you know? lmao Well, see the above comments if you're interested =)

Hihi ;) You write only about writing and languages. Scientists are interested in science also in their free time. You never mention computers, math, physics, chemistry, biology, ecology or whatever... But I could have been wrong because many scientists like interpreting and languages in general. It is depressing to read their CVs...

There is still time to learn Spanish. 6 months or more? It is a challenge! :)

Well, true. I'm not interested in science at all. Languages ftw <33 And I have like 8 months to improve my Spanish, hm. I should start doing smt now preferably lol
